Give recognition to those who labor among you and lead you in the Lord Mohnish you, and the steam them very highly because of their work.
In a world of so many fallen leaders, it can be difficult and even kind of scary to esteem someone highly. They are human. I feel like I’m always waiting for the other shoe to drop, for the leaders transgressions – activet and ongoing, not past— to be exposed. After all, it did happen when the promiscuity of a pastor at former church of mine was exposed. Totally unrepentant. The betrayal was devastating. Granted, there of been some little red flags along the way like a glance that lingered too long. But nothing fully prepared our congregation for the letdown. Even as I write this, tears well up and slide down my face. I for gave this person sometime back, but only today and I realizing how the bettayal is still affecting me. Think I will pray on that and seek some wise counsel.
Done! Now headed to my trainer for a kick my booty wirkout!!!
