{Spiritual 5}

God loves us so much and He wants us to love him too!  In fact, the most important thing we can do in our lives is to love God with all that we are- with our affections, our thoughts, and our bodies. God wants our love for him to come from the inside out.  To love the Lord is to choose to have a relationship with him, just like a close friend or a parent, and to follow Him all of our days.  

Make Mark 12:30 your Valentine's verse this February.  Celebrate your love for the Lord and renew your commitment today to love him with all of you heart , mind, soul, and strength.  If you struggle with how much He loves you- please understand this. When you give your heart to Christ, you inherit great wealth- all the hundreds of promises God gives you from His Word are yours for the taking! These promises belong to you! As a child of God, you must daily claim them, believe them, and declare them over your life!

A prayer for you: Lord, help us to know how high, how deep, how wide your love is for us. Open our hearts and minds to know you more and to fall more in love with you every day. Amen"

Happy FEBRUARY!!! 

We have had a full month of dedicating our FIRST to the Lord! I hope you have felt the shift and change of how your days look simply by giving God your first!  The next 30 days will look a little different.  I will continue to post the Journal 5 and the Fitness 5 parts of this challenge, but the Spiritual 5 part of the challenge will be more 'reflective' as we look back on what the Lord has been doing in our daily lives. I'll be asking more questions and prompting you more to dig in a little more!  It's okay if that doesn't make much sense- just continue to give God First every morning and be led by the Holy Spirit as he speaks to you during your time together.
